This is a strange on I ran into on a 3200 controller running AOS 6.1.2.3.

I'm trying to do a "backup flash" but when I run the command I get the following error:

    (Aruba3200) #backup flash
Please wait while we tar relevant files from flash...
Error backing up DBs. May have run out of space

Here is the files on the flash:
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 22200 Feb 23 10:42 20120222-3200Config.cfg
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 35708 Feb 23 10:40 20120223-localUserDB
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 20558 Nov 10 01:41 default.cfg
    drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 1024 Nov 7 05:26 fieldCerts
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 22282 Feb 23 10:44 original.cfg
    drwx------ 2 root root 1024 Aug 10 2011 tpm

Any ideas?  I rebooted the controller to no avail.  I wanted to do a backup flash and restore it to another 3200 controller.

    Thank you.

    -Mike

    Do a show storage command.

Forgot to include that as well:

Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
    none 300.0M 1.8M 298.2M 1% /tmp
    /dev/hda3 392.7M 74.1M 298.3M 20% /flash

    How about a show memory?

    Please open a TAC case.

    Here is the memory info:

Memory (Kb): total: 354372, used: 269592, free: 84780

I also upgraded to 6.1.3.0 and that didn't seem to help.  Oh well. :)  It's an eval controller I'm returning and was looking to get the flash backup to restore.  I'll just manually restore the config and the local userdb.

    Thank you.

    Hello friends.
I hereby ask you for help, if possible.
I have in my technological park an Aruba controller.
I'm trying to make a backup with the super user password.
and I'm having the following problem:
    as the princes say.

    #backup flash
Please wait while we tar relevant files from flash...
Error backing up DBs. May have run out of space

I have room to perform the procedure, but it is not generating the file
    .tar.gz
    MEMORY:
Memory (Kb): total: 691936, used: 605532, free: 86404
    STORAGE:
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
    none 300.0M 21.3M 278.7M 7% /tmp
    /dev/hda3 392.7M 126.0M 246.4M 34% /flash

    type "tar crash".

Then type "dir" to see if any files are taking up lot of space.
