Wireless Access

Hello,

 

My first post here & my first work with Aruba wireless :)

 

Is there any way to force the speed on an aruba 205 access point's ethernet interface to 100/full. A cisco switch that it connects to is showing lot of errors.
The switch side was already tried changing to auto/hard coded.

I understand that you have mobility controler. check this profile:
Configuration --> AP Group --> <AP-Group of the desired AP> -> AP -> Ethernet interface 0 port configuration --> Ethernet interface link profile

Goto "MORE > WIRED"

 

Select ETH0 profile and edit

Set Speed

 

 

 

** it will applied to ALL Access Point !!

Thanks, but our IAP does not show that option under wired.

It just has fields till admin status.

 

any other options that i can try please?

Make sure you click SHOW ADVANCED setting, or you can try using CLI

Thanks much. i got it finally.

Just another query , an IAP-275 is currently acting as the IAP controller role. However, there was another IAP acting as controller earlier, but it seems to be flapping on/off. Is there any way to look in the GUI of IAP to see the flaps & its reason to understand the role changes.

 

I think you should check on the switch logs for that. The main reason IAP changes master/role ussualy because the previous master is down.

 

Try changing the cable or port of the troubled IAP.
