    Hi everyone,

For a site survey, we want to be able to force a Channel and a signal force.

It work perfectly for me with the 802.11g in those section :

    RF Management

       802.11g radio profile

          Transmit EIRP : 15 (Exemple)

          Channel : 10 (Exemple)

    RF Management

       802.11g radio profile

          Adaptive Radio Management (ARM) Profile

             Assignement : Disable

Then 1-2 minutes after, in the dash board, I can see that the Channel et EIRP are force.

But when I do the same for 802.11a (in the 802.11a radio profile of course), it doesn't work. The value that I want is :

    EIRP : 15

    Channel :140

Anyone have an idea on that ?

    Thanks.

Is channel 140 allowed on your regulatory domain for that access point?

    show ap allowed-channels ap-name <name of ap>

    Hello,

I was just wondering how the transmit EIRP in the radio profile and Min/Max Tx EIRP settings relate?  For example - Does the Transmit EIRP setting in the radio profile takes precedence over the Min/Max Tx EIRP setting in the ARM profile?  When would you use the setting in the radio profile?

    Thanks in advance.

    -Luis

The TX EIRP in the radio profile is used when:

    - The Access point is fresh out the box and just contacted the controller (this will be the initial power)

    - The ARM setting is to None.
