I create a Management user with guest provisioning role, and I'm able to login into the portal, but when clicking in new I'm not able to create users. I'm using the internal server.

It could be your browser.  What version of ArubaOS code is this?

Try to login as the guest provisioning user and add it via the commandline:

    (Aruba7640-US) #local-userdb-guest add ?
generate-username Generate a name for the user
    username Name of the User

You should not need a license for that.

    Hi,

I was able to add the user using the command line, and also usign the GUI in admin mode.

The OS version is 6.4.4.6. I tried using chrome an IE, I tried in another computer, but when clicking in New to add a user nothing is showing up.

What I can see is that none of the options works in the gues provisioning portal, none like logout or new or details. could it be something else missing? i'm usgin the default settings.

I dont have a controller without licenses, but it works for me.

The user guide says that guest provsioning does not require licenses, so it should not.  You would not be able to execute the commands on the commandline logged in as the guest user if that was the case.

Very few users have controllers without licenses and even fewer users actually use guest provisioning on the controller, so you could have encountered a corner case.

Thanks, I tried in other controller and worked, that one have PEF license, but I agree with You that that's not the cause it isn't working. I'm going to install another release and try again,.
