Looking for information regarding the metric Dropped Frames to Client.  I have one client that travels around to branch offices where RAP-155s are deployed.  He always has poor wifi health at branches due to high dropped frames.  He can be sitting next to someone else at the branch and they have near-perfect health.  The only thing I've been able to narrow down is that he has the issue on 5GHz, but not 2.4GHz.  When on 5GHz, his signal and SNR are typically very good ~ -55dBM/40dB and channel utilization are low.  If he comes to the office, we can't reproduce the issue with CAPs.  Only seems to be on RAPs.  I'm at a loss to explain this.  Any thoughts?

There are quite a few reasons why traffic would be dropped, so it is fairly generic.

    What you do not mention:

    - What version of ArubaOS?

    - What wireless card does the user have?

    - What encryption is in place?

    - Is the Virtual AP tunneled, split tunneled or bridged?

    Luiz_Prado,

Do you have the latest version of the client driver on that client?

Is there lot of congestion (alot of other access points on the same channel)?

Are there alot of clients on that same channel?

Do you have  broadcasts dropped on all of your WLANs to avoid contention?

My problem has been solved, reducing the power of the radios and increasing the sensitivity of interference. I've changed the network cards of users for aggressive roaming.
