    Dear Sir,

     

    Please note that we are facing an issue that the AP is reconnecting always to the controller and the ssid signal is also very weak

    1.  What kind of access points and controller?

    2.  What version of ArubaOS?

    3.  What is the transmit power of those access points? (show ap active)

    4.  Take a look at "show log system 50" to see why those access points keep reconnecting.

    ArubaOS (MODEL: Aruba3400), Version 6.2.1.4

    go to ap installation and check out if you got one AP with the unlicenced Flag or if you see any AP with any weird flags...

    Normally you should see all your aps with just "2" flag which is ike version 2 flag.

     

    A few months ago a client was telling me something similar, and he didnt notice one of his APS didnt have a license so the Raido was not coming up so he was telling me that there was poor signal in that area....

     

    The thing is that he didnt installed the licesnse we sold them of one ap properly.

    It just an assumption... im not telling you THATS your problem... just check... if you got all your APs with the correct flag then its all good with that, and you need to check something else...

    Also give the output Collin is asking you! so he can keep on his own troubleshooting to help you!

    Type "show ap database" on the master and see if any access points have the flag of L.  That will tell you what devices do not have licenses and are not broadcasting.

     

    From your output on the local, you have quite a few access points that do not have a license on that local.  Those access points look like they have mac addresses as names, so they are probably new and end up on either (1) the first controller they find and there are not enough licenses or (2) the "Default" ap group's LMS-IP  sends them to the local controller which does not have enough licenses.  Provision those access points into the ap-group that they should be in to put them onto the correct  controller.  Access points that do not have licenses do not broadcast, which could explain why you have poor coverage.
