I have or pre-sales ordered 300 IAP and controller and on site now we want to convert all?

    Want to know how to convert 300 IAP to controller atonce how can I do this?

    You can convert an entire cluster at one time.  You would have to bring as many of the IAPs up as possible in a single cluster and then go to Maintenence> Convert to convert them.

    If the IAPs are not deployed, an alternative would be to configure Aruba Activate to convert them to Campus-based APs.     As each one comes online, it will communicate with Activate, retrieve its provisioning rule, and convert.   Be sure the controller is configured and online prior to brining the IAPs up.

     

    Have a look at this tutorial that converts IAPs to Campus-based RAPs; you would just change the provisioning rule form IAP-to-RAP to IAP-to-CAP.
