I have been reviewing these models as ruggized access point.  The IAP 367 offers Wave2 however the 228 is specialised for warehouses and colder environments which is where i am may put one.

Would the IAP 367 be suitable for warehouse type environment were its -10 C over the older IAP 228?

I would agree based on the data sheets so why dont the data sheet state it is suitable wave2 AP for warehouses or a replacement for the 228?

The datasheet only mentions statistics, really.  Many people use our APs for different things.  What it is "suitable" for one person might not be "suitable" for others.

The data sheet for the 228 is listing unique example environments where temperatures may exceed normal operating temps (it also lists stadiums and industrial freezers), but be dry or weather protected. The 36x and 27x will work in all extremes and is weather protected, so it doesn't necessarily need to state example environments.

The 228's applicability also depends on the antennas installed, whereas the 36x has integrated antennas.

Very true the 228 does have the option for external antennas (omi/directional) Wereas, the 36x offers them as integrated both directional and omi. Would seem a cleaner option having the antennas builtin I have never worked or seen the new 367 how do you point these internal directional antennas?

The 365 would face down for omni, and the 367 would face out in the direction of coverage.
