IDS Event Hotspotter

    Should this signature be enabled?  Does this detect true use of Hotspotter or does it really only detect false positives.

    Very prone to false psotives when neighboring WLAN SSIDs are seen. Not recommended to enable, there are other protection mechanisms depending on your need. What is the impetus for this signature?

    It was enabled prior to me taking over.  I will disable it, thank you.

    Does anyone know how to clear the IDS events within AirWave?
