    I have a 3400 and 3200 controller, can I implement redundancy between the two, even though they are of different models?

    Yes but you need to be aware of the AP capacity.

    If you have more than 32 APs on the 3400 and it failed and all APs were directed at the 3200, only the first 32 would come up.
