The maximum mesh children (mesh point) is up to 64 that will be able to associate to the mesh portal
Thank you

With that being said, the maximum suggested mesh count should be 4.  http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controller-Based-WLANs/What-is-the-expected-mesh-performance-across-each-hop-in-a-mesh/ta-p/183670
