We are in the process of deploying Cisco phones and CUCM through our environment but have run in to a "snafu" when we started to test Cisco Jabber. The Wi-Fi clients can initiate a call and receive a call but no voice stream is sent, the RTP stream gets blocked at the controller when you “pickup” the call. The Block is cause but the Aruba firewall, because the SIP ALG detect a REGISTER message with expiry=0 being sent to the Redundant CUCM. This is a keep alive that is used for the Jabber client. And the ALG interprets this as the SIP DE- REGISTER, and blocks the call(RTP stream). We have opened and closed a ticket on this with TAC. We have been told that Jabber is on the Roadmap. The workaround is to allow RTP between our wireless users and our voice vlan, which we are reluctant to do. Is there anyone using Cisco Jabber on Aruba Wireless, does anyone have some experience with this?
