Looking for Wireless roaming Production solution.

    Hi.

     

    We are looking a solution of  Wireless roaming .

     

    existing we using many stand alone AP( Broadcast same SSID ) for coverage our warehouse era.

    And client use WIN CE devices connected the wifi network.

    But when user roaming between APs. Application always has packet dropped report .

     

    We looking for

    • Any product can provide a smooth roaming wifi network?(like 3G mobile network.)
    • Is It some AP the 5GHz  connection between Mesh APs, 2.4GHz Broadcast to user can provide this roaming service?

    We just using Stand alone D-link SMB APs.no controller.

    Any of our dual radio access points can provide mesh @ 5.0 GHz and provide client access (to WinCE Handhelds in your case) simuntaneously at 2.4 GHz.    Roaming in an Aruba system is centralized at the controller within the system.

     

    I have many Aruba deployments with WinCE devices and warehouses (aka. barcode scanners of varying form factors) that work(meaning roam) fine, even when mounted on forklifts, skateboard carts (fun!) or on belt clips/armbands where personnel walk around all day long with the devices.

    That means the Aruba Mesh Router/AP can provide the no packet loss roaming wifi network?

     

    Could you provide the hardware requirement list of 30 indoor access point to me?
