M3 master controller or a separate controller (3400) to support remote AP's and VIA clients

At present we have a separate SC2 controller for our RAP'S (36).  Would it be a better solution to have a separate controller (3400) to support remote AP's and now VIA clients or will our M3 master controller that is used solely as a master and backup LMS for AP's suffice? Weighing cost, one less box to manage/service etc.

Rich,

You probably want to post this question under ArubaOS and Mobility Controllers as opposed to here since this forum is for the S2500 and S3500 Mobility Access Switches.
