M3 module capacity

Hi,

 

What is maximum number of tunnels on the M3 module?

I am refering to GRE tunnels.

GRE tunnels for Wired APs, Campus APs, Remote APs and Tunneled ports.

Hi Mike,

 

A campus AP uses one tunnel per SSID per radio. A S3500 wired AP may use one tunnel per port.

 

How can I make sure that I am not exceeding my M3 controller capacity?

Well, the M3 can do 8192 BSSID's with either 512 campus APs or 1024 RAPs.  You can do a combo of campus APs and RAPs, but you have to watch the ratio.  Hopefully the BSSID number will give you a better idea of the capacity.
