MAC Addresses showing in Internal Database

From my understanding entries in the Internal Database can only be manually added for mac authentication. However I am seeing macs in the database that are showing up as usernames with no role that automatially expire in 2days. Can anyone explain why these macs would be showing in the database? I attached a pic.Internal DB.PNG

Re: MAC Addresses showing in Internal Database

this is possibly machine auth caching for windows clients, are you using dot1x and windows based machines?

Dugem is right.  If you have "enforce machine authentication" enabled, the mac addresses of the devices that passed machine authentication are in the local user database.
