MAC Authentication on Wireless users issue

Hello,

In our environment, we have a Master-Local controllers running version 6.5.1.6.

I have configured MAC authentication on a specific vap-profile with security type WPA2-PSK. Also, as you can see in the attachments I did exactly the same setup as mention in the below link

but all users are able to connect to this SSID even if their MAC addresses are not added to the internal DB.

Please advice,

Thank you

Re: MAC Authentication on Wireless users issue

Hello Victor,

This is the initial role:

aaa profile "Nestle-aaa-prof"
        initial-role "Authenticated-Role-Nestle"
        mac-default-role "Authenticated-Role-Nestle"
       authentication-dot1x "default-psk"
       dot1x-default-role "Authenticated-Role-Nestle"

Re: MAC Authentication on Wireless users issue

Create a role that denies all traffic and assign it to the initial role
Thank you
