Hi all, have users connecting to an SSID authenticating with mac auth. Is there a way to give them a role that point them only to an internal intranet web page, preferably using the URL ??

    Thanks

    Hi Stunshot,

I have couple of questions here,

    1. Why do you want to use MAC authentication ? you can use Captive portal right.

    2. Do you use CPPM as an authentication server ?

    3. Which AOS version you are using ? coz in the latest AOS version you have PBR option.

    Please clarify the above.

    Hi,

Now you have only one solution. upgrade it to 6.4 and configure PBR, map the PBR to the post auth role of the user. in the PBR redirect whole HTTP traffic such that it goto the Intranet.

Please feel free if you don't get the solution.

Create a captive portal profile and put in the url. Then create a new user role, link the captive portal, and add the captive-portal and logon-control policies.

Assign the Mac address that user-role.

    Thanks,
    Tim
