First, I would say hello to all Airheads.

We are using the Aruba3600 as Single Master (no local controllers).

We are running the following licenses already:

    Access Points    128
    Remote Access Points    128
    Outdoor Mesh Access Points    512
    Voice Service Module    Unlimited
    VPN Server Module    8192
    Indoor Mesh Access Points    512
Next Generation Policy Enforcement Firewall Module    128

We plan to buy another Aruba3600 controller, to use it as master redundancy controller for our existing master. I read a lot of Aruba documents already but I can't find anything about the needed licenses. Do we have to buy additional licenses or do the controllers share them?

    Thanks in advance

    BR
    Sebastian

    Sebastian,

You will have to purchase separate license for the standby controller as well for the APs to failover.
