    Hi,

I have configured a Master Redundancy on 7200 controllers using lab 15 documention of the boot camb course.

One of them now is a master and the other is backup under the redunadency tab.
when I turn off the Master the backup one change to Master automaically,

under Monitoring tab the master has network information while the backup not.
Under controller information the first is Master while the second is Stand-by

But under WLAN Controllers: I can see only one controller on each not 2

When I shut down the Master all APs become down, I also found that none of the configuration on the Master one (IPs, VLANs, Groups, ......) has been syncronized with the backup one.

What should be the problem ????

Please look at your VRRP ?

    show vrrp status

Are you pointing all your APs to the VRRP VIP ?

Also please look at the show master-redundancy

I tried show database synchronize, and recieved the following

Last manual synchronization time: Thu Aug 21 13:27:40 2014
To Master Switch at 172.10.101.254: *** FAILED ***
WMS Database backup file size: 0 bytes
Local User Database backup file size: 0 bytes
CPSec Database backup file size: 0 bytes
    Synchronization took 30 second
Last failure cause: Standby switch did not respond to the start request or is not ready

    1 synchronization attempted
    1 synchronization have failed

Periodic synchronization is enabled and runs every 20 minutes
Synchronization doesn't include Captive Portal Custom data

Make sure the ipsec key matches

They are the same, and still failed

Try 'show datapath tunnel table' for IPsec tunnel between them.

Also 'show network log 50' to see if the VRRP is flagging any issues.
