I'm settting up a Master-Local scenario at a customer site.

Each SSID has its own VLAN assigned and will be trunked back to the core for routing. All APs terminate on the local.

My quesiton is that I'm going to have the master backup the local. The VLANs for the SSIDs will be put on the local, but I'm not sure how to setup the master as the backup regarding the VLANs. Do I add the same vlans as on the local? What about addressing? Will I need 2 addresses from each VLAN to put on each controller?

Yes, if they're connected to the same upstream core/switch, then trunk the
    same VLANs to both controllers.

If you need IP addresses on the controller for captive portal or multicast,
put one on each controller. For example, .1 could be the gateway upstream,
.2 the master and .3 the local
