New SSID (Advanced) Options in Aruba 6.2

    Hi,

     

    With ArubaOS 6.2 there is some new Options in Advanced SSID Options

    I try and it work for advertise AP Name (With Wireshark)

    But the Location Info don't work.. (not see information this)

     

    the spec about Aruba Vendoc Specific Data is available ? it is planned a new release of Aruba Wireshark tools ? to decode frames ?

    You will be able to see the Access Point name in Airmagnet product, instead of just the BSSID.

    The spec (of framing) is available ? to decode also in other tools ?

    It uses the same portion of the frame that Cisco does.

     

    The location information will only show up if you provision an access point with the longitude and latitude in the Provisioning Screen.
