No access to specific applications/services by WiFi

    We have found issues while connected to WiFi on our two sites. It is for wireless clients:

    - Windows Phones

    - Android Samsung S6

     

    The folloing occurs:

    - Samsung S6 can not connect to Hotmail (WIndows Hotmail App on phone) and can not connect to Google server using Gmail App.

    Windows Phones can not update Apps on their phone connected to WiFi.

     

    Their are no firewall rules set in the IAP VC. And on Firewall on network as well not, because we tested with a Apple Airport, connect Windows Phone to the Airport (on same LAN) by WiFi and then it is available.

     

    Any ideas to solve problem? IAPs ar eon 6.4.2.6-4.1.1.7_50209

    Can a regular laptop access gmail?

    yes a regular Windows machine or Macbook (via WiFi) can access e.g. Gmail

    What is the configuration of the SSID that the devices are connected to?  (show network <name of network>)

    I have access to just one cluster. The other site (for Windows Phone  trouble I am tomorrow)

    I don't see anything blocking any traffic.  Do the clients use an internal or external DNS?  What firewall is in place at the site?

    It uses the DNS from Gateway (his won ip address and 8.8.8.8)

    I don't see anything blocking any traffic specifically from handheld devices.  There must be something more...

    I don't see anything blocked at the IAP level.  How is the firewall setup at the site?
