Hi my question is about the PoE at on the new APs 220 when I use the two ports with LAG I will need to have:

    1.-PoE 802.3at on both ports

2.-802.3at on one and the other with 802.3af

3.- Only one port with 802.3at.

All this is because I want to have all the functionality on the AP with no restrictions.

    Thanks in advance.

    Number 3.

Note that LAG is not supported in 6.3.0 software, but will be added in 6.3.1.

Can either port run POE? Is the ap220 able to have 2 ports with POE for redundancy?

Yes, either port can take POE (but the AP can not draw current from both ports simultaneously). This can be used for redundancy, but the AP will reboot when POE power is lost on one port.

Thank you for clearing that up for me.

It would be nice if the ap wouldn't reboot if one of the links failed.

Can the AP225 use both ports in a LAG to create 2 gig link with ArubaOS 6.3.1  to be active/active or will it be active/passive?
