    Hi All,

    We are observing Low Free Memory on the  Master Controller.

    (Aruba- Master-Controller) #show memory

    Memory (Kb): total: 691780, used: 630360, free: 61420

    We have 23 AP's and approx 150 wireless users connecting to the Controller.

    In the Debugs, we observe fpapps occupying the Memory. Attached the Memory Debug details for reference.

    Followed the troubleshooting doc ::

    http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/Troubleshooting/ArubaOS/System_Memory_Troubleshooting/system_memory_troubleshooting.htm#arubaframestyles/troubleshooting topics/system_memory.htm%3FTocPath%3D_____2

    but still do not see any improvement in the Memory Levels of the Controller.

    Please advise, if this is the normal behaviour of the Aruba 3400 Controller based on our Utilisation ?

    Are you seeing any WLAN performance issues, or are there any irregular events in the errorlog? You can always open a TAC case to see if they find anything.

    Hi Jerrod,

    We are not observing any issue(s) in the WLAN Environment. However, when checking with Our Other Network Components, we see 83% of Memory Utlised, which is not a normal behaviour in our Existing Setup. So just wanted to Confirm, if this is a normal Behavior of the device or some Optimisation / Tweaking needs to done.

    Thanks, I would check with our Local vendor / Aruba TAC for further confirmation on the same.

    hi Vammshi

    it's normal for fpapps to be holding a lot of memory - if you can share the output of "show memory debug"  it will shed some more light (it's a lengthy command, please capture it and post as an attachment)

    regards

    Hi Vammshi

    I just saw the other thread you opened, let's track the memory disparity there and we can check the checking of the current usage here.

    regards
