RAP 3 problem

    Hi all, maybe its because its new year, but I have the following issue.

     

    New RAP3 , powered up, connected to Internet router.  Can see Instant SSID, connect and get an IP address.

     

    Cannot ping the def gateway or connect via browser to the Instant, get the following error on chrome

     

    DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET

     

    Any ideas ??

    Did you try a different browser?

    Colin, yes I thought of that, IE same issue, bizzare that I cannot ping the GW...

    Is the RAP3 new?  Did you reset it?  What is your router?  What message do you get in IE?

    Yes, new out of box, same problem with other browsers, home broadband router.  Stumped !! Yes reset it also

    You did not say what error you get with internet explorer.

     

    Did you try to go to the "instant.arubanetworks.com" URL?

     

    Please try with a different router if you get a chance.

    Colin, yes I found an old DSL router, just to give out DHCP, connected this time no issue.  Have converted it and willsee how i get on.

    Try checking the DHCP lease of the IAP and access it on that IP from the wired network.
