Do you mean through the dedicated point to point connection back to where the 650 is located ?

What type of RAP are you using  ?

If you have routing in place to reach the controller IP address and you allow UDP/4500 :

    - But all you need is create a ip pool for your RAPs

    - then add the mac address to the RAP whitelist

Thanks Victor Fabian for your reply,

Yes,point to point connection is back to the 650 controller,

    I used RAP-3WN model,it,s act as a remote AP.

Yes,I have reach controller local side IP through point to point circuit, when I attached my laptop in directly to the router and when I connect to the RAP by default ssid(instant).

IP pool is already created in the controller, device Mac id is also white listed in controller.

In DSL infrastructure RAP directly converted to standalone to remote access point, and broadcast controller assigned ssid and IP pool but I face problem in point to point connectivity ,it,s converted but after conversion it,s not broadcast anything reboot simultaneously.

Can you please enable the following ?

logging level debugging security process crypto - To determine if it is getting denied

show log security all | include <rapmacaddress>

logging level debugging ap-debug - To see what's going on with the AP

    show log ap-debug all | include <rapmacaddress>

And also do a show ap database long | include <rapmacaddress>

Also make sure that the ssid is enabled  : show ap essid

Make sure that the AP System profile has the IP address that you are using to point the RAP to the controller

Can you please share the AP-Group ?

    Arnab,

What version of ArubaOS are you using?  You need 6.2 and above to convert a RAP3WN to a Remote AP.

    Okay,

Paste in these commands into the controller:

    config t
logging level debugging security subcat ike
logging level debugging security process aaa
logging level debugging security process authmgr
logging level debugging security subcat l2tp
logging level debugging security subcat vpn

When the RAP boots up, type "show log security 100" and send us that output, so we can see what is going on.

Here's the snapshot of where do you add the LMS ip address or IP address of the controller that you are using to convert the IAP to a RAP

    Hi

I think, you should try to convert this AP into Campus mode before Remote mode using the same VLAN between Controller and the AP (AP must be in the Campus whitelist). When it's up you can provision it as a remote AP.
