Anybody know the reason for this message from a RAP -

    sapd's state set to SAPD_STATE_CONFIG_RESET

This was listed in the show ap debug system status command onder the rebootstrap information.

What version of ArubaOS is this?

What version of code are you on?

If you are on 6.1 or 6.2, the SAPD_STATE_CONFIG_RESET message merely means the LMS IP has changed for the RAP.  Was the message preceded by Changing to LMS messages?    In version 6.3, the text of the message was changed to be more meaningful; I think it now states something like "LMS Changed, resetting config and changnig to LMS...."

The AOS is 6.1.3.5 and there is only a single LMS address which a VRRP address. There is a change message for the LMS address - perhaps it lost connectivity to the LMS?

CONFIG_RESET just seemed like there was a more serious problem.

    MattF,

Yes, it probably lost connection to the VRRP.  It will try to connect to the VRRP again one more time before bootstrapping and that is probably the message you are seeing;  Either way, you could have a connectivity issue.
