Does anyone know what an amber WLAN LED on a RAP-3WNP means? The only documentation I can find only specifies the status of the LED being green. there's no mention of it being amber.
Which LED?
The WLAN LED.
Documents such as:
http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controller-Based-WLANs/What-are-the-various-LED-status-on-RAP-3/ta-p/178008
and
http://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/Command/Core_Download/Default.aspx?EntryId=8443
Only show status for it being green.
For amber in the WLAN it means that either is not getting an IP address (if it is setup as an Instant) or that High Throughput (HT) is disabled on the SSID
Hi,
WLAN LED is amber means the Radio is enabled in non-HT WLAN mode.
Cheers,
Venu Puduchery
Excellent, thank you. I suspected it was non-HT as I do indeed have that disabled.
