Hi
I have Aruba 7005 controller and and IAP 205 . ArubaOS version 6.4.2.8. My problem AP 7 out of 15 starts reboot every 3-4 hours. I trying 3 different arubaos (6.4.1.0 - 6.4.3.2 and now 6.4.2.8) and problem continues. AP's connected same poe switch. There is no information debug and crash log. Only one log
94:b4:0f:cc:f1:3c@192.168.0.46 nanny| Reboot Reason: No reboot message found . 8 Ap never restart. Only 7 ap same time rebooting. What could be problem?
juniper ex4200 24 port poe switch.
I do not think problem is switch because other 8 ap not reboot.
totally 15 ap on same switch
Don't forget to check cables, Layer 1 must be in order for AP's to stay up.
Errors on Layer 1, might trigger the switch to cut power (crc etc).
This should show up in the switches log btw.

Did you ever find the solution to this? I'm having the same problem and I know it's not a cabling or switch problem. Seems more likely in the AP-105s than any others..
Colin,
This is the only entry in the log:
Dec 12 23:16:48 :303022: <WARN> |AP Bldg55-B318@128.180.215.248 nanny| Reboot Reason: No reboot message found.
Throughout campus every once in a while an AP reboots and it's not always the same AP. I'm trying to capture why it's rebooting. This AP is part of 8 APs that are of a fraternity. They are all connected to the same switch. This isn't just an isolated incident. Randomly an AP-105 will reboot - different switch, different builidng and different switch type. I'm wondering if a user is don't something..
No reboot reason means that the power was cut. If it is graceful or a crash, it would say that as a reason typically. What version of ARubaOS is this?
6.4.3.5
Are those access points using POE? Can you look at the logs on the switch?
Those are PoE switches and I do have access to the logs. I will copy and paste the next time an AP goes up and down and the log isn't overwritten..
