Recommendations on protocol analyzers?

    Hi!

     

    I´m not sure where in the forum to put this so please feel free to moderate and move it to where it belongs :)

     

    What protocol analyzers do you guys use? What NICs works good for capturing 802.11ac and what software do you use to analyze the captures?

    For basic troubleshooting, you can use an AirPcap NX. 

    For more in depth capture, you can use an Aruba IAP-215 or MacBook Pro.

    When capturing from APs, what software do you use on your client (I run windows) to capture and view the frames?
