    Hello all,

I have a question about routing redirection, maybe you can give me a hint.

I have on the controller 4 VLANs: vlan 420, vlan 193, vlan 400 and vlan 409. Vlan 400 is used for Access Points and Vlan 409 is used for guest (CP) users. I have Vlan 420 as uplink 1 to Firewall1 and Vlan 193 as uplink to Firewall2. How can I redirect traffic from Vlan 409 to only Vlan 193 and not to Vlan 420?

    Thank you,

    Vulpe

The easiest way to do this is to have a VLAN where the firewall is the default gateway and put that on the controller.

For example, if I have a cable modem or DSL circuit that you have a router/firewall connected to, that router has an internal DHCP server for clients.  Connect that VLAN with the router's internal DHCP server to  the controller as VLAN 409.  When the users come in on VLAN 409, the controller will place them on that VLAN and their default gateway will be the router on that circuit.
