    Hi All,

The documentation on the "Remote-AP uplink total bandwidth" feature looks a bit wolly to me. Can anyone explain it please?

I'm aware it can be used to reserve a portion of the availalbe bandwidth for an application, protocol, or port number on a RAP in split tunnel or bridge mode.

The configurable options are, total upload bandwidth and 3 values per reservation.

    1. aclname - ACL Name

    2. bwvalue - reserved bandwidth in kbps

    3. prio -  priority of the reservation/traffic

The ACL name is the bit that's not 100% clear to me. Can I just type anything into this box or does it needs to match an ACL that I've already created?

If it needs to match one that I've already created why not have a drop-down list of my ACLs there?

    Can someone please clarify?

    Thanks

    James

The traffic that is reserved in the band with reservation, has to match a session ACL. Our remote AP validated reference design document has this feature laid out in detail on page 119.
