[Resolved] AP stucks in upgrade/reboot loop

[ Edited ]

Hi,

ArubaOS (MODEL: Aruba7240-US), Version 6.3.1.9

AP Type 225

Performed the AP privisoning using a Console cable:

apboot> setenv group XXX

apboot> setenv name ABC

apboot> setenv master [IP]

apboot> setenv server [IP]

After connecting to the network AP stucks in a upgrade/reboot loop according to "show ap debug counters ap-name ABC" command.

show datapath session table shows Y flags (output is attached). Does it mean a firewall ACL is blocking the connection?

Re: AP stucks in upgrade/reboot loop

On the controller's commandline type "show log system 50" and see if you see anything about the access point.

Re: AP stucks in upgrade/reboot loop

Thanks Colin.

I just resolved the issue. I believe it was the ACL on our core switches. The following cheat sheet was really helpful with troubleshooting:
