    hi all,

     

    i meet  another problem in my deployment.. i hope someone can help me....many thanks...


    i have some standalone APs in my enviroment.....some of Aruba APs(AP_A) ...and some of Dlink APs(AP_B)....these APs own by different party....the users via 802.1x radius authen...and the SSID are same..

     

    now i need two deploy one set Aruba Controller+AP(AP_C) .....

     

    1. is this possible that roaming between AP_C to AP_A and vice versa....(no enough license on controller to adopt AP_A)

    2. is this possible that roaming between AP_C to AP_B and vice versa

    3. any critiera??

    You cannot roam from an Aruba AP to a Dlink AP....

     

    You cannot roam from an Instant AP to a AP managed with a wireless controller.

     

    I dont know if that asnwer your questions??

    ok....i just want to clarify...

     

    i will ask the customer to add license for Aruba AP and change all Dlink to Aruba...

    It will cost them more money but its worth it... you dont buy an Aruba Solution so then you start buying Dlinks or linksys!
