Routing External Traffic Through Controllers to RAP
Routing External Traffic Through Controllers to RAP
02-08-2015 05:01 AM
I have an issue that may have a seemingly easy fix but I need some help
We currently run 5 controllers of which:
Primary controller 3600 ver 6.3.1.8
Secondary controller 3600 ver 6.3.1.8
Other 3 are remote local controllers 3200 ver 6.3.1.8
The thing is, there is an external link to a test network that is at one of our remote locations which is pushing DHCP. We cannot get this link physically to our main locale which houses the primary and secondary controllers. Both controllers in question uplink via a dedicated link.
Seeing that we are only using Port 0/0 on all controllers, is it possible to connect that external link to Port 0/1 and route its traffic over to the Primary Controller? The ultimate goal is to create a profile on the primary controller to pick up this traffic and allow it to be routed to one of my RAP's.
Can this be done? Thanks for any and all comments in advance.
