S2500 local account for monitoring

    Hello guys

     

    How can I create a account for one of my co-workers with limited access?

    I don’t want him to log in as “admin” and change setting on the switch.. is any way to create something like a monitoring account? So he can login and see what is going on but without permisions to change seetings..

    You can create a read only account on the switch:

     

    config t

    mgmt-user <NameOfUser> read-only

    <password>
