SNMP traps are missing information

Have you tried running an Airwave client session report and discovered that there are a great deal of "unknown" cipher clients as well as bundling of 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n (2.4GHz) clients into a "802.11bgn" bucket? The reasoning is that this data is gathered during SNMP polling periods but NOT from SNMP traps.

I added a feature request for this, so if you agree that this is something that needs improved, please support the idea!

I'm also experiencing this problem. I.e. there are also unknown entries in the inventory report under Model/Bootloader Version Summary(all Aruba equip.).

I think that's related to having to telnet/ssh into the device in order to get that information. The feature request for you would be to update the trap that has device information, rather than client traps. - Ryan -
