SSID Max IP Space

Alot of documentations say you shouldn't run larger than a /24 on a single SSID, we've been running a number of /22's for couple years now with no issues that we are aware of but are looking at moving to a single larger block. Anyone have any issues or newer documentation that talks about best practices or how large a block can be? Any experience with using larger blocks than a /22?

A VRD addressing this was released last week.
