Everytime I see a 7Signal demo or presentation, I fall in love with the promise of what it can do. At the same time, it's really hard to contemplate getting into more boxes to manage and more hardware to deploy when there's already an investment in CleanAir and Spectrum Expert in house. I know 7Signal does more (synthetic testing, a slew of KPI tests, etc), but still have sticker shock and Yet Another Box Phobia. From the Aruba end, has anybody done a good analysis of where native Aruba tools end and 7Signal picks up? For that matter, has anyone seen a decent Cisco vs Aruba test results doc anywhere for spectrum analysis and client testing features?
