Supported DHCP Options with Aruba AP/AC EoGRE

    Hello,

     

    In case User Vlans are tunneled with EoGRE from Aruba AP to the MC 7200.

     

    And then, MC is connected with native VLAN's to Gateway Router, what are the supported DHCP Options; to be configured on the GW Router? As I know, Option 82 is not supported over EoGRE Tunnel.

     

    The scneario is like this:

     

    UE <> AP <(EoGRE)> MC 7200 <Native VLAN> GW Router

     

    And the MC 7200 will act as L2 Device

    Mainly Option 82, for AP Location Identifier String, or AP MAC Address.

    DHCP Option 82 is typically for service providers.  Is this deployment for a service provider?

    based on one response without information on versions and such it is a big step to say it is not supported.

     

    have you don't similar captures to show the option is stripped?

     

    as responses on that article and this thread are limited i would contact TAC and show them what you believe that fails.
