Switch alert

    I have set up the S1500 switch, but the status led have blinking in red continuously.

    The alert is inline power detected on Ge0/0/4

    What does this means?

    Is GE0/0/4 uplinked to something? If so, what?

    What command should I type or where should I check?
    I have connected the S1500 switch port1 to the router. Will this affect?

    If the device is running LLDP you can try "show lldp neighbors". Also do a "show port status" i believe on the S1500 to see if Ge0/0/4 is up.

    In the mean time, opening a support case with Aruba would also
    he a good idea as they can provide remote assistance.
