    Hi

    on my Aruba 651 controller, after login with the admin account, the following error shows up:

    ====================== E R R O R =======================
    TPM Initialization or Certificate Initialization failed.
    For debug information see /tmp/deviceCertLib.log.
    If this message appears even after rebooting the device
    couple of times, please contact Aruba Networks.
    ========================================================

    How can I access /tmp/deviceCertLib.log ??

    Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong here?

    (Aruba651) #show tpm cert-info
    Cannot get TPM and Factory Certificate Info.
    TPM and/or Factory Certificates might be missing.

     Does this mean there are problems related to the hardware?

    hi oNek

    This can be due to a corruption of the certs (usually due restoring a backup made with tar flash instead of backup flash between two different controllers) or a failure of the TPM itself.

    The steps you can follow to try and recover are:

    a> collect output of "show tpm error"

    b> write erase all (make sure to take backup using backup flash, copy out licenses etc, or just reconfigure all)

    c> reboot

    If still not fixed, then log a ticket with TAC showing steps a~c above and request RMA due to failed TPM.

    Just to clarify, do not use tar flash for moving configs between controllers, it is purely for Aruba debugging.

    regards
