    Hi all,

    I have noticed that the IAP 205 Heats a lot , and that aussi also when there is no user connected .

    is That normal ?!

    Yes, APs tend to be warm to hot.

    Raouf,

    I assume you're noticing most of the heat from the black backplate? The backplate of the AP 205 is actually used as a heatsink to move heat away from internal components, so noticing heat from this surface is actually a good thing. We’ve done numerous tests analyzing the temperature of the components in normal and worst-case use, and these all operate well within their specified range. The MTBF is excellent for this AP.
