    Hi,

My organisation has inherited the wireless infrastructure from another organisation. We are currently working to consolidate the two solutions into one, and I am wondering if transferring the AP licenses is as simple as copying the License Key from the License table on one controller, and pasting it into the Add New License Key field on the other? (as well as deleting the key from the redundant controller of course)

I haven't actually tried this yet as this is a live system that we are migrating and I don't want to impact service, or potentially lose any licenses in the process.

Licenses can only be transferred through the licensing portal because each license is keyed the the serial number of the device.  hpe.com/networking/mynetworking/

If you cannot do it there, you should contact TAC: http://www.arubanetworks.com/support-services/contact-support/

If your controllers can run ArubaOS 6.3 and above, you can turn on Centralized Licensing, and point one controller to another to pool the licenses.  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_65x_WebHelp/Web_Help_Index.htm#ArubaFrameStyles/New_Licenses/Multi__Network.htm?Highlight=centralized
