I have the following on site.
Clearpass
Controller running 6.4.3.4
Aruba S3500 in tunnel mode
Avaya phones
Voip phones authenticate through clearpass via static host list. Get the correct vlan and user role.
In controller we can see phone gets correct vlan and user role and has valid ip address for vlan.
(so far so good)
Voip phone in tunnel node can call non-tunnel node phones just fine. Call controll and two way audio are fine.
Voip phone in tunnel node can call another phone in tunnel node and call control works. Phones ring go off hook and appear to connect but there is no audio either direction. If user presses digit on dial pad they can get audio for about 10 seconds then it cuts out again.
Clearpass and controller both look good. Problem only occurs if both phones are on tunnel node so makes me think it's a switch problem.
Anyone have any suggestions??? I'm a bit stumped as to what to look for next.
