Wireless Access

I am testing ubuntu 16.04 and getting error connecting to IAP.

I have an 802.1x network with mac authentication. It was working before on ubuntu 14.04 .

 

It seems some kind of not asking for certificate to run or something. Does this help?

What RADIUS server are you using ?

I am using internal Iap Virtual controller radius.

Ok, I had similar issues with Windows 10 using IAP's internal RADIUS server (which is an instance of  FreeRADIUS).

 

Turns out that when I upgraded to version 6.4.4.3.4.2.2.0, it solved my problem. I'm sure it would worth trying it (in a lab environment) if you have a version prior to this. Even if it's not written in the release note, they clearly did modifications to internal FreeRADIUS server (maybe adding TLS 1.2 support perhaps).

 

Also, a wireshark capture would be great.

Upgraded To ArubaInstant_Taurus_6.4.4.3-4.2.2 and boom!

I will try. Thanks. A wireshark capture when the client tries to connect? Is that?

Could be Ubuntu error, since 16.04 is a recent release. Was working on ubuntu 14.04 and is working ok in windows and ios or android.
I suspect that i need to accept a certificate but in 16.04 I only can put none or choose one CA Certificate that I don't have. Lets do more troubleshooting ;). Thanks
