Upgrade AIPs with controller

    Hello, I have a Aruba controller (3200) with latest firmware (6.4.2.4) with 23 IAPs.

     

    Is it possible to upgrade the IAPs firmware? I try to connect by web, but I can get nothing.

    Hi,

     

    No. it is not possible to upgrade the firmware of an IAP through a controller coz the Controller image and the IAP ( VC) image are different.

     

    Let me understand something here, why are you using a controller along with IAPs, IAP itself will have controller functionality. please clarify whether you are using IAPs or APs .

     

    If you are using APs, AP always update it's code through the Controller.

    OK. Sorry for the confusion.

     

    I have controller with APs, so I don't need to upgrade.
