Upgrade. File location

I have just successfully upgraded from 5.0.3.3 to ArubaOS 6.1.2.6.  Thank you.

Evrything looks good and I'm loving the new Dashboard.  (Sad I know)

If I do "dir" it shows

-rw-r--r--    1 root     nogroup  40464240 Aug  1  2011 ArubaOS_MMC_5.0.3.3_28008
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root        22974 Feb  4 11:26 default.cfg
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root        22254 Feb  4 11:23 default.cfg.2012-02-04_11-23-18
-rw-r--r--    2 root     root        22902 Feb  4 11:26 default.cfg.2012-02-04_11-26-13
-rw-r--r--    2 root     root        22902 Feb  4 11:26 original.cfg
drwx------    2 root     root         1024 Jul  1  2010 tpm

I cannot see my new code.

However, when I do "show image version" Is see what I'd expect to see:-

(Aruba-Master) #show image version
----------------------------------
Partition               : 0:0 (/dev/hda1)
Software Version        : ArubaOS 5.0.3.3 (Digitally Signed - Production Build)
Build number            : 28008
Label                   : 28008
Built on                : Thu Apr 21 11:52:06 PDT 2011
----------------------------------
Partition               : 0:1 (/dev/hda2) **Default boot**
Software Version        : ArubaOS 6.1.2.6 (Digitally Signed - Production Build)
Build number            : 31653
Label                   : 31653
Built on                : Fri Dec 23 14:43:04 PST 2011

Nothing major but is this correct?

Re: Upgrade. File location

The code you upgrade to never shows up in flash when you do a "dir".  You might have accidentally copied the 5.0.3 code to flash as a file instead of doing an upgrade before.

"Show image version" shows you what is on your system partitions and "show version" shows what you are currently running.
