If I had Aruba 6000 controller on version 6.1 (There isn't centerlize license feature) and I want to upgrade from OS6.1 to 6.4.

Traditionally. I have 25 AP and buy double license on master and backup controller. If I upgrade controller to version 6.4  (There is centerlize license feature) and I expand wireless from 25 AP to 50 AP. Should i buy additionally 25 license or I can use old license

    Thank you

If you switch to master local, both licenses will be added to the pool. If you don't want to do that, contact your Aruba account team to see if it can be transferred.

    Thanks,

Sorry I mispoke. You can continue to use master-standby and the licenses from each controller will be pooled together. No need transfer or change topology.
